Dawson Holdings PLC, the media services business, held its Annual General Meeting at 2:30 p.m. today. Following the Annual General Meeting, the Company is pleased to announce that shareholders passed all the resolutions contained in the notice of meeting.

At the meeting, Nigel Freer, Chairman, confirmed that there had been no change in trading since the Interim Management Statement was issued on 3 February 2010. A full update on the first half performance will be provided following the half-year end (31 March 2010).

In accordance with Rule 9.6 of the Listing Rules, copies of the resolutions 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 as passed at the Annual General Meeting have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will soon be available for inspection at the UKLA Document Viewing Facility situated at:

In addition, Ian Davies, a valued non-executive director since June 2005, has decided to tender his resignation from the Board with immediate effect.

Nigel Freer, the Chairman, said "Ian has proved an immensely able and thoughtful non executive director throughout his tenure and the Board and I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to him for his contribution over the past five years. His experience and counsel will be missed."

In light of the Board's stated aim of reducing the Group's central cost base, it is not envisaged that Ian Davies will be replaced in the near term. Jim McCarthy will take up the role of Chairman of the Audit Committee.
