Bad, sights set far too low in my opinion, remember the press, acountants, and ctt will all have estimated on the side of caution, the 850ml black hole is an estimate for imparment charges (NOT AN ACTUAL LOSS), this is not as black as its painted, during 2010/2011 ctt will be unstopable as they compete with the likes of provident etc, the very best of luck to all holders in ctt.

Re: Cattles outcome is stll a mystery

Badhshah, you missed out the most likley outcome imo, the suspension will be lifted, WFS will have been reduced by 70%, the shoppaceck operation will have increased by 200% with a plan in place to carry on increasing the business, there will be dilution, this will be caused by swopping some of the debt for equity, (with banks and bondholders) 50% dilution is what I am going to guess at, and obviously thats what all of this is, a guess brought on by sheer desperation for information and for a conclusion to this horrible mess, I agree there will be an update before the end of the year but I think it will simply say that the extended deadline for the 650ml loans has been extended for another six months, this news will come out on the 29th of december....

Re: former-cattles-invoice-arm-absolute-...

I don't see the deal as demonstrating interest in debt management. Anacap bought Ruffler Bank with the intention of using it to establish a financial services group. Ruffler has a small leasing business but has already set up Aldermore as a leasing company with a new MD (George Ashworth, Ex-Fortis). They also own Base Commercial Mortgages. Acquistion of an invoice discounting business is a logical extension of the portfolio and is consistent with Anacap's desire to channel those businesses via their bank. In other words, I see this as nothing more than an inter-group transfer.
