Exercise of Options by an Employee

The Company makes the following announcements in respect of an exercise of options on 24 February 2010 over Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company granted under the Albemarle & Bond Holdings plc Company Share Option Plan:

1. a transfer of shares has been approved in respect of 5,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each ("Ordinary Shares") at 236.5p per share in the capital of the Company beneficially held by Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited ("the Trustee") as Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust;
2. as a result of the transfer announced above, the Trustee now holds 381,667 Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company, equivalent to 0.69% of the Company's issued share capital;
3. B J Stevenson, D A L Page and D P Pattinson are directors of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited.

Exercise of Options by Employee

The Company announces that it received on 23rd February 2010, a letter of exercise from an employee in respect of an exercise of options over 15,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each at a purchase price of 74.5p per share under the un-approved share option scheme

Application for Admission to Listing

The Company further announces that application has today been made for 15,000 new Ordinary 4p shares ("Shares") to be admitted to listing pursuant to the exercise of share options under the scheme detailed above. It is expected that dealings will commence in the new Shares on 1st March 2010.

Following the exercise of share options, the issued share capital of the Company will be increased from 55,424,274 Ordinary shares of 4p each to 55,439,274 Ordinary shares of 4p each.
