Annual Information Update

In accordance with the requirements of Section 5.2 of the UK Listing Authority's Prospectus Rules, AZ Electronic Materials S.A. ("AZ" or "the Company") today provides its annual information update which summarises the information it has published or made available to the public during the period between 27 May 2011 and 17 May 2012 inclusive ("the Period"). 

For the purposes of this update, the information referred to:

·     is not attached or included, as full copies of each item can be found at the locations specified;  

·     was up-to-date at the time of publication, but some may now be out of date due to changing circumstances; and

·     may have been prepared, at least in part, pursuant to the laws and regulations of jurisdictions outside of England and Wales.

1.   RNS announcements made during the Period

The following UK regulatory announcements have been made via RNS (which is a Regulatory Information Service) and can be accessed from both the London Stock Exchange's website at www.londonstockexchange.com and the Company's website at www.azem.com. (These announcements have also been simultaneously stored and filed with the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and the CSSF at www.bourse.lu on the dates shown).

No documents have been filed with the Registrar of Companies in England and Wales as AZ is a public limited liability company (société anonyme) incorporated under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and registered with the Luxembourg Register of Commerce and Companies under number B156074.
