both Germany and Finland have to get the loans voted through. I hear the Fins were livid weeks ago with the Greek politicians attitudes. I fear they will not vote the loan through now anyway.
The Greek politicians attitudes are dispicable IMHO........................... PULL THE PLUG MERKEL. All IMHO. |

'Tas,
Tell the house about shorting GKP? I was intrigued that a board member brought this little gem up.' 120 to 100oddish and then 110 to high 60s if my memory serves me well. Starting late Oct 2009 to mid 2010. I was aiming for the 68% retrace which we missed. I closed and moved on. They stayed bitter. Haven't posted since then on that BB. Some keep trolling around telling me what the sp is on a daily basis as if I cared. The fact you think you have a 'gem' tells me you've got the same genes as those mupp3ts. Remember they only ever know I'm shorting a share because I tell them. Think hard on that gem Tas |

Capello.
Jack, Capello: I'm not much enamoured by the farce of football and have never warmed to this guy until now. In this report he shows that he has style and principles and a loyalty to his charges, maybe misguided, but loyalty nonetheless. Of course he won't have to sign on at the Job Centre, but he has made a dramatic sacrifice I reckon. And a bold one. Remeniscent of that other Italian Virgil and his injunction to "Never give in against evil. But to proceed even more boldly against it". http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/08022012/58/euro-2012-capello-fa-insulted-damaged-authority.html SBK |

m8 gambling has been around for thousands of years. I does'nt go away so quickly ""The oldest preserved parts of the text are not thought to be appreciably older than around 400 BCE, though the origins of the story probably fall between the 8th and 9th centuries BCE.""" Don't let this happen to you IMHO..... """The dice game Draupadi humiliated. Shakuni, Duryodhana's uncle, now arranges a dice game, playing against Yudhishtira with loaded dice. Yudhishtira loses all his wealth, then his kingdom. He then even gambles his brothers, himself, and finally his wife into servitude. The jubilant Kauravas insult the Pandavas in their helpless state and even try to disrobe Draupadi in front of the entire court, but her honour is saved by Krishna who miraculously creates lengths of cloth to replace the ones being removed."" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahabharata |

The constant delays don't really mean anything do they? If these Greek politicos had their citizens best interests at heart, they'd have shown a bit of backbone and called Merkozy's bluff already.
Cowards the lot of 'em. With their 100k+ salaries and grace and favour benefits. And let's not forget, the democratically elected P.M. was forced out to get the current technocrat in. The whole soddin' charade is shameful. And getting even more so with every day and delay that passes. ------------------ PAAA wait, am I reading this right? Are you suggesting the Greeks should default? That (defaulting) I think / see as a very dangerous game to play. |

Surprising developments with it being so close to the Euro Championships. FWIW, I hope Harry Rednapp gets it, if only part-time allowing him to also finish the season with Spurs.
However, if Harry's not available, surely Mike has to be our man: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylftUmF-GSw&feature=related |

PAAA
Fair enough and in addition, as a general comment I would say they work better on stocks than indexes. Over the years I have made more money/or lost less, by NOT trading indexes from a screen. So I concentrate on stocks (occasionally commodities) and their derivatives. (This coming from an ex LIFFE FTSE pit trader!) I tend to view index positions as a little vain for some. However, making money from turning big positions in liquid markets from the edge of a trading pit however, was a different matter. I do however place options combinations med/long term sometimes.but that's another story. Anyway, have a good evening, I am off to da gym. Refcotrader |

I've kinda given up on shooting stars myself tbh.
They augur well if you're short, but you look at just how many we've had on the indices all through this climb up. There's been loads. Not to mention the hanging man and doji candles too. All suggesting a reversal or at the least indecision. And the thing is, they're never confirmed confirmed the next day. In fact the next day is quite often shown to be extremely bullish. Gimme the confirmation. Then I'll start getting interested. Regards, per ardua ad astra |

Banks, accelerating efforts to move troubled mortgages off their books, are offering as much as $35,000 or more in cash to delinquent homeowners to sell their properties for less than they owe.
