Now i am not going to pretend I understand the methodology and construct of this fund. However, at some stage we will look back on these difficult times and rue the fact that we did not tuck away some small packets of financial related stocks. I have bought small amounts of Lloyds RBS and the like with the view that I will keep them for the long long term. In short I will loose the lot or else just maybe find my money appreciates by a multiple of my investment. I have recently also bought this stock and I think those who, like me, see less risk than perceived in 'bombed out ' situations might consider looking at the rating of this stock. Its discount its cash holdings and gearing, by my calculation, cancel each other out (i could be wrong) which leaves a collection of financial stocks that could provide a very interesting ride. if you do buy this one then, like me, do promise your self to take the long long view. look at its chart and you may agree. gresham, I totally agree. Ken is a fool switching the portfolio. I was actually at my happiest when it was invested in Polish and Turkish banks as I think those are 2 young dynamic countries with a bright future, if only people could look long term. You are so right, to wake up one morning and find your entire portfolio has been sold off and switched into UK insurers, AFTER those insurer share prices have risen narked me so much, I did not restart investing in this. At risk of being cynical, those switches earn nice fees for the managers...oh hang on, that's Ken again.

I really think it's a huge risk. You don't know what you're invested in from one minute to the next.

Yes, I'm waiting to see low 40s again then perhaps stick a lump sum.
