The Company announces that on 2 February 2012 it purchased a total of 85,000 ordinary shares of 1p each on the London Stock Exchange via Investec Bank plc. The highest price paid was 399 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 386 pence per share.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, the Company holds a total of 2,223,782 ordinary shares as treasury shares and has a total of 193,261,042 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held in Treasury).
