TriDef powers 3D TVs, PCs and mobile phones at CES 2012
Los Angeles, California: DDD Group plc (AIM: DDD, "DDD", "the Group"), the 3D solutions company, is partnering with some of the world's leading brands to showcase its TriDef®3D 2D to 3D conversion technologies and Yabazam! 3D content library at the 2012 International CES, which opens today in Las Vegas.
Samsung, LG, HP, Sony, ViewSonic, Lenovo, Philips and AOC will be showing a range of 3D consumer products that feature TriDef 3D for 2D to 3D conversion and 3D content playback.
TriDef 3D converts video, photos and games from 2D to 3D in real time. It allows more than 540 of the latest PC games to be played in stereoscopic 3D 'off the shelf', even if the game has not been specifically developed for 3D.
DDD customers displaying products with TriDef 3D at CES are:
DDD will also be hosting meetings in suites at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. The Group will be demonstrating a range of products that feature TriDef 3D including Samsung 3D TVs; an HP 3D laptop; a glasses-free Sony S-series notebook; the LG Optimus 3D smart phone; a MasterImage glasses-free mobile phone display; a Samsung 3D PC monitor; and a Quartics 2D to 3D conversion box that connects any device to a 3D TV to enable 2D to 3D conversion. DDD will also be showing a range of Intel Sandybridge and AMD GPU optimized products.
Yabazam is DDD's online movie portal for watching 3D content, including movies, animations and music videos. It gives manufacturers the opportunity to include high quality 3D content with their products. The latest Yabazam Smart TV Apps on Samsung and LG's Smart TVs will be demonstrated in DDD's suite along, with examples of popular TV shows converted to 3D using DDD's 3D Factory low cost conversion service.

Lenovo launches 3D all-in-one PC with DDD's TriDef®3D technology
Los Angeles, California: DDD Group plc (AIM: DDD), the 3D solutions company, has licensed its TriDef®3D software to Lenovo for its 3D IdeaCentre all-in-one (AIO) PCs which launch today.
DDD's TriDef 3D automatically converts DVD movies, video and photo files from 2D to 3D. It also allows over 540 of the latest 2D PC games to be played in 3D, and is available in 37 languages.
The TriDef 3D software will be supplied with the AIO PC to deliver 3D viewing using simple, lightweight polarized glasses, making it both cost-effective and convenient.
The new B520e 3D AIO PCs deliver a truly immersive 3D visual experience for entertainment and gaming. Lenovo successfully used TriDef 3D last year with the Y560d 3D notebook and is committed to developing more 3D products with TriDef 3D.
The 2D-to-3D game conversion solution is compatible with games that run on the DirectX 9, 10 and 11 application programming interfaces.
To ensure plenty of content for 3D viewing, Lenovo also includes a selection of original, high definition 3D programming available from Yabazam.com, DDD's 3D entertainment portal.
DDD will receive quarterly royalty revenues from Lenovo based on the volume of 3D PCs shipped.
