no point shooting the messenger froggy lad seems to have stabilised for now a bit higher than i thought it would the drop was obvious the election was a disaster the coalition no better the appointments confirmed grinan still hanging tough the old guard still in charge therefore emed still going to have to pay millions to the landholders much more than anything yet talked about granted not 60m but over 20m if they dont want to run out of money and dilute again short term the share price here all hangs on greece just like everything else greece election happens before the land deal could still see 6p More View thread 7 Respond Login to Vote up

well, lets face it. it is very frustrating at times for us, not for spaniards. had contact with some spanish professionals working here in london ec1. they don't know what i'm fussing about. i explained them what went on the last 5 years and for them is the whole scenario nothing but normal in spanish terms. esto necesita tiempo they say. in this sense it becomes clear why we don't see many people protesting because this needs time as my spanish friends said. tard, i'm afraid there is not a single word to find about our beloved company. it's dead silent which is a good thing at his point imo. i'm certain that the parties involved are negotiating al this time because now is the right time to do it. next thing in the news will be about a deal with the landowners. there will be deal because that's why they bought the land in the first place. if they don't make a deal with emed then they will not see any money at all. nobody will buy the land from them which would include a waterproof claim from emed exceeding the land value. unlikely that the 8g meeting is coming up with a solution today and i suspect the euro crisis will be dragged into next trading week which could see emed's sp testing 7p. if we get to 6.5 i will take another big chunk and i will be as happy as larry. I wish Mr0 ! Whether it's the FB effect or not we seem to be getting a bit of relief in the markets today. Copper price fall has halted and gold is 1.5% up on the day and still rising. Would be nice if C&P could find a morsel of positive news to maintain our interest and confidence in EMED's progress. Afternoon Mr0 ! you IMO, along with MetalMuppet and berny, you should be rewarded for your bold buys this morning. My last buy was around 8.7 so I'm waiting to see if I can get a last tranche at under 7p. I stuck my neck out on MML (gold miner) earlier in the week when the price of MML and gold both touched technical lows - a bit twichy at the time given the "red" state of my share portfolio, but 7% up in 2 days has been the reward - stop loss now in place! Also making a bit with shorts on the DOW. You've got to have ways of benefitting in a bear market otherwise relentless fall in long positions can drive you mad. Gold continues up today, now $1590/oz after touching $1594 Copper futures back to the $3.50/lb support level Euro/USD unchanged at 1.27. Sentiment on European defaults is highly pessimistic but Goldman Sachs seems well protected. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-05-17/u-s-banks-sold-more-swaps-on-european-debt-as-risks-rose.html Wise of Harry not to rely on European institutions for finance. How about a bit of positive TA to steady the nerves? Look at the weekly javachart and draw an ascending trend line touching the highs of Aug 09 and Jan 11. Then make a parallel line and fit it to the low of Feb 09. You will find that this lower ascending trend line also touches the lows of Oct 11 and Dec11. Therefore it could be argued that the share price is still in a wide ascending trend pattern going back 3.5 years. It could of course be total coincidence that Oct11 and Dec11 lows but I pointed this coincidence out if I recall correctly just around the Dec 11 low and so anticipated the following rise. It may also be coincidence that the March 12 high was almost identical to the Aug 09 high, the 16p level where I anticipated resistance. TA is open to all manner of criticism but we know that trading systems use TA to identify resistance and support levels and that many traders including institutions that rely of computerised trading also rely on TA. So it's unwise to disregard TA as total baloney and if this analysis has any validity we should see 6.75-ish as the low now approaching. What's the betting that EMED's advisors are aware of all the above and that Harry will have a jiucy RNS ready to capitalise on the fact that traders in EMED will be watching the SP if the buy level falls to 7p? I'll be joining those "traders" with an exit price target of around 35p which is now the level of the upper resistance trend line. The two previous highs that touched that upper trend line were 16 months apart .... about time we had a third test of that same line! Remember the axim, the trend is your friend!!!
