Earthport plc ("Earthport" or "Company)

Issue of Share Options

The Board of Earthport plc, the global payments utility, announces the grant of the following options over new ordinary shares of 10p each in Earthport to its Non-Executive Directors as follows:

Phil Hickman                     300,000

Vinode Ramgopal            200,000

Terry Williams                  200,000

These options vest over two years and have an exercise price of 25p each.

Paul Thomas, Executive Director, has been granted 3,000,000 options over new ordinary shares of 10p each under the Company's Joint Share Ownership Plan.  These options are subject to certain multi-year performance conditions including the Company hitting certain sales targets and reaching cash flow break even.  These options have an exercise price of 25p each.

Following the above grants and grants to certain other employees of the Company under the Option Plan and Joint Share Ownership Plan, the fully diluted number of shares shall be 356,855,541 of which options shall represent 15.5%.  Of the outstanding options, 44.2% are conditional on certain performance conditions being met.  The lowest exercise price of all the outstanding option is 25p.
