Pleased with that.
watched it fall in the general high street malaise of 2011. picked up a lump in early dec for wife's SIPP at £3.57. wasn't sure to top up or not in the pre-xmas lows....but held firm... we're certainly one of their customers "trading up" from cheap rubbish the supermarkets sell....would rather spend £10 a bottle at Majestics and have a great night with a decent imported wine than waste £4 a pint and £20 for a dodgy pizza or pie and mash in a drafty football mad pub. Long term hold on this one, and further top ups, half decent dividend, likely growth in like4like and new stores - as the middle classes aren't quite as squeezed as we're letting on....and the fine wine buyers certainly aren't feeling the "austerity" if the sales of Rolls Royce's are anything to go by oh...and Queens Jubillee + Olympics = lots of champagne and summer of stay at home barbecues.
