For the sake of keeping things in proportion, the Renold pension Deficit is not going to disappear, most definitley not - not even in dreamland or risng markets this side of 2020 - and good results do not need to be diverted to fund it - so let's accept this deficit is under control and varies with the bond rates. Meanwhile the trading is good and I think will get better this year.
Since the FD bought a bundle at 26p and as an Irisman, is careful with his money, follow begorrah ! - or at least you should have back at 26p
Remember the Chairman from the private equity owners sold out at 28p recently and whilst this was taken negatively it probably released a big stock overhang. IMS due on Friday so maybe trading is good.
All these admin RNSs today, 3 so far seem to have quite an effect!
Seriously think market is starting to realise the USA/India/China economies are still moving forwards and hense RNO is going to have a good year and at current price is quite a bargain so buyers and coming in with not too may sellars around.
It would certainly be good to see us back into the 40's by early summer, or sooner.
