Launch of Sanderson designs by Portmeirion and Blueprint Collections
Walker Greenbank plc (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co, Harlequin and Zoffany, is pleased to announce further progress with its strategy of licensing its designs through the launch of exciting new collections of Sanderson tableware and Sanderson stationery, bags and tinware at this week's Spring Fair International at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre.
The Sanderson tableware collections have been created through a collaboration with the international ceramics company Portmeirion (AIM: PMP) and include two collections, an eye-catching tea-time collection based on 1950s artwork and a classic dinner service inspired by Sanderson fabrics from the 18th and 19th centuries.
The 1950s-inspired collection, Fifi, includes a tea service and coffee cups along with dip sets and side plates. The classically inspired Porcelain Garden collection comprises a full range of tableware for tea, lunch and dinner featuring delicately executed flowers, birds and butterflies on scalloped porcelain.
Meanwhile, Blueprint Collections, a private company specialising in high-quality accessories, has designed a new range of Sanderson stationery, bags and tinware from Sanderson's Porcelain Garden collection. The Blueprint range includes notebooks, pencil cases and photo albums along with bags, satchels and cake tins.
John Sach, Walker Greenbank's Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted by these Sanderson collaborations with Portmeirion and Blueprint, and by the quality and range of products that they have both produced. Licensing our designs is a key part of the strategy for our brands to become a lifestyle offer where our own wallpapers and fabrics are complemented by high-quality accessories throughout the home and beyond. We wish Portmeirion and Blueprint every success with these product launches."
