Just got this off their website 3 November 2009 BGLOBAL PLC (“Bglobal” or “the Company” or ”the Group”) NEW JOBS ANNOUNCED AT BGLOBAL Bglobal plc (AIM:BGBL) the market-leading provider of smart metering solutions to the UK energy market announces the creation of more than twenty new full time jobs and new sub-contracting agreements across the UK to satisfy increasing customer demand for smart metering. Up to ten new positions have been created in the Company’s customer service division in Darwen, Lancashire, plus an additional five field engineering staff roles in the region. This follows the creation of four new engineering posts last month in the Midlands. Additional appointments are being made in Bglobal’s research and development department as well as in sales and marketing. As a result of expanding the Company’s sub contractor base, Bglobal also has twelve new staff available in Wales and the West Country and the Company is expecting to create further positions in the South East of England and the Midlands. Tony Barnes, Chief Executive of Bglobal said: “We are very pleased to be in a position where we can offer new job opportunities in the current economic climate and build strategic relationships for the future with trusted partners. We aim to continue this expansion across the Group in line with increasing demand for smart metering nationwide.”
