Sorry...I got that by following the thread. But had you been referring to me you would have been right; I am greedy. I love Money, a lot, am honest about it and not afraid to admit it. I also pay my bills early, I am ethical and considered a good citizen. What the heck, they don't need to be mutually exclusive. OK, politically correct or a boy scout I AM NOT! Just sayin'.
No my friend I was not referring to you as being greedy where u get that from I do not know.Any way there is nothing to worry about with Blinkx whatever the results are like tomorrow, good time to top up today.lol
Sarge: Were you referring to me as being 'too greedy'? What has that got to do with the fact that the numbers, if they do include Burst as I suspect, were lousy? Saying they are good does not make it so. If Burst was in the mix we had negative sequential growth from H2 2011 to H1 2012 and we're over $10 million below the estimates given by Goldman Sachs. We'll find out if I am right about the Burst numbers on Friday, and if I am wrong, which I pray to Money I am, I will be the first to admit it.
Some people are just to greedy ,looking for to much to soon .don't forget from little acorns grow big oak trees we are a medium size tree at the moment, patients will be rewarded.we know we are on a winner all the way in the long run ,so everyone stay cool .
It went into the shareholder funds to be used for purchases such as Burst and Prime.
I am not sure what people were expecting from the interims because the second half of every year has always been better than the first half.
On a half year comparison, last year the first half was $27.36m with $2m profits. Second half was $38.74m with $5.22 profit. This year, the first half was $45m with $4.9m profit and when you consider the costs associated with the integration of Burst, that is an excellent result. That is growth in the right direction for a growing company. If you extrapolated last year's results you could then expect $60m for the second half and profits of about $10m.
And all of this was in the light of the integration of Burst which has taken time to integrate and has cost money and the second half will have to bear the cost of the Prime integration and if the forecast is right and the revenues stand up you could expect the overall turnover at end of year to be about $100m and with an potential profit of 15% that would give you profits of about $15m.
Now, who could object to that? And what price would the company be worth then? Patience is the by-word. They also serve who only stand and wait.
