well it is kind of sad but no point in falling in love with a share
the placement to fund the Prime acquisition looks like a very clever deal, it leaves Blinkx with enough firepower to do another takeover in the second half, all going well
it is quite possible blinkx will go on to double profits or more this year, but organic growth was the cornerstone to me and when that is called into question the very high p/e ratio leaves the sp vulnerable
the trading update was unsatisfactory as it was a little ambiguous where it should have been absolutely clear whether it included burst revenues since the acquisition or not
I think it had to and the ADVFN poster may have simply been told that Burst was profitable for the last two months - which would be an impressive outcome
but the figures dont tie in with the track record or the newsflow
I think blinkx got some bad publicity in a marketing magazine a few months ago, and I wonder if that damaged them and they had to bring down their CPM rates in response? Just speculation on my part
