I think there may be a spike of optimism before results. However it will be short lived as the best that can be hoped for is a slowing in the rate of decline. All focus will be on equity issue. If they announce terms my best guess is there will be around 3bn shares in issue at the end, which will make eyes water a bit. There will then be a sharp dip as PIs sell to generate the cash (60p+ per share held) they would need to take up remaining rights. This may be enough to put the rights issue underwater which could spell disaster. It may not be that bad, but I do not see how it can be good. If I was silly enough to be still holding I would sell on any spike and look to get back in post ex rights if at all. All IMHO of course.
