Hi Ali
My brother has lived in Stanway for thirty years. The weekly trip to SBRY was a ritual for him and the thousands of other middle class commuters who lived around him. I was back visiting two years ago. He now does 80% of his shopping at Aldi, which is located ten minutes away on the London road. I am personally unimpressed with the offerings of the discounters, and was surprised by the brother's shift of allegiance.

I think SBRY is still underpriced here, and agree with you about the nature of the business. But the struggle will be hard and uphill.
