This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a).

Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (LSE: BRW) were advised on 23 July 2009 that, on 23 July 2009, Sarah Soar, an Executive Director, transferred 1,400 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares").

Of the transferred amount, 1,000 Ordinary Shares remain under her beneficial ownership and the balance of 400 Ordinary Shares were transferred to family members for nil consideration.

Her resultant holding in ordinary shares in the Company is now 294,341 ordinary shares (representing 0.1364% of the total issued share capital, of these shares 70,319 are nil paid) and the total number of shares over which options are held by her are 121,195 shares.
