Issue of Ordinary Shares

The Directors of Carlton (AIM:CLN) announce that in accordance with its cash preservation policy the Company has today issued a total of 2,965,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in lieu of cash payments of £20,758 due to creditors.

Following the issue of the Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 453,969,390 Ordinary Shares in issue. Application will be made for 2,965,000 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings in these shares are expected to commence on 25 September 2009.
