At the date of this announcement COLT Telecom Group S.A.'s issued share capital consists of 891,492,386 ordinary shares of EUR0.50 each with voting rights. Currently there are no shares held in Treasury, therefore, the total number of voting rights in COLT Telecom Group S.A. is 891,492,386.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, COLT Telecom Group S.A. under the company's Articles of Association.
