Significant Shareholding

Metalrax Group PLC (the 'Company'), the niche supplier of specialist engineering and consumer durable products, received notification on 20 July 2009, that James Leek purchased 500,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ('Shares') at 4.75p each on 17 July 2009. Mr Leek's beneficial interest in the Company has, as a result, increased to 4,940,500 ordinary shares, representing approximately 4.1 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
