Extension of banking facility review date

Further to the announcement made on 3 September 2009, Optare is pleased to announce that discussions with its bank regarding the renewal of the Group's banking facilities are at an advanced stage and ongoing. The bank has agreed to extend the facility review date and the Directors are confident that they will be able to renew the Group's banking facilities before 28th November 2009. Existing covenant waivers will remain in place until that date.
