Taihua confirms that it received notification on 1 October 2009 of the following change of interest in voting rights in the Company's share capital:

Following an acquisition on 1 October 2009, the Botting Family Investment Funds now has a direct interest in 3,314,461 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing 4.06% of the total voting rights of the Company.
