Best the FCA monitors things more closely... Take a look at BTG and its board of directors.. Who knows there me be insider dealing going on there. We nether know but the honours system may be changed if we are lucky
Where did I leave that yacht of mine together with its 1980 fiesta
You are evidently connected to Quantum.. Lets hop trump looks at this as closely as he is looking at general pharmas over pricing.. after all they have followed a protocol which this type of company hasent.
However it looks like most of the spiv brigade did..
Happy new year to you and the rest of the spiv brigade. I hope you are enjoying the bread you are putting on your families table and are looking at the next British company to asset strip for its technology.
I bought these at 134.2 Dec 05 so have seen them really scrape the bottom. Only 901 of them so happy that I'm getting something above what I paid but I hate it when things are taken away from you just as they seem to be "on the verge" so to speak. I did subscribe to the loan notes though and I was wondering what happened to those (183 of them). Thanks anyone.
For the last 3yrs and more Cyprotex have been working with a leading USA Pharma
This Pharma has supplied Cyprotex with data which has been used by Cyprotex to develop much of its new offerings for the last 3 yrs.
One can only wonder what this USA major Pharma now thinks of the Evotec offer
Which is effectively giving over a lot of what it has gleaned from at least a decade of Clinical trials , both successful and failures and Cyprotex has used to develop new in vitro assays plus recent in silico models
At least 2 other major USA Pharmas have also supplied their data to Cyprotex
Will an American white knight ride to the rescue ?
For this to succeed they will require most shareholders to accept it.. That is actual shareholders and not large individual ones. In other words over 50% will not suffice if a number of small holders reject it
Schemes of arrangements can fail if minority shareholders object even if large shareholders vote to accept.
I will vote against and I am sure a good quantity of other shareholders will as well.
By the way I find it a little odd that you post a corporate presentation from Evotec.. Why not post one from Cyprotex.. Oh silly me their corporate broker doesn't like representing them and promoting their interests..
I anticipate holding out until this is finalised. We may be able to force a trading update before this happens as this may bring the full potential of CRX to the wider market.. Personally I cannot believe that no one else is looking at this.. They must be worth at least 70 million.
Also they are sitting on cash reserves of anything between six and ten million
I may even buy Evotec if this goes through at this level
I had a large holding in Evotec and Cypro...untill last week. I sold both a few days ago not knowing what was coming (sold Evotec at 5.09 and Cypro at 1.50 and made more than 75% on both in less than a year). Since then Evotec is down a few cents and Cypro just up 7 p. and it will probably not go up much more for some time to come. Perfect timing for me. I felt both were trading sideways and were fully valued. My advise is, sell now and make some 10% on something else before the year end. Maybe by following the money...of Oryx. They sell an fully valued Cypro to German Evotec and what have they been doing recently? Reinvesting in an undervalued German portfolio you all know... Quantum Pharma. Could be a good idea regardless the negative critics on Quantum Pharma...
A couple of points here.. Have you noticed there has been no trading update and inmo there wont be until the offer is finalised. Obvious why as any update will show how ridiculous this offer is.
Even without growth revenues will be 10-20% higher due to Sterlings weakness. Then we have projects coming on stream together with new assays added.
As you know I have been very negative as to how they raised the funds in the first. If you remember when these were first raised I said that Trident would end up with a controlling interest if they decided to convert. In effect this company was taken over when the loan notes were issued.
INMO they were hoodwinked into this loan by a bunch of spivs. Advised by a brokerage firm emanating from Germany and then altermatly sold to a German company.. I wonder if they are also advisors to them as well.
Personally I am going to do what you have intimated and do nothing as hopefully some other company out there will realise what a bargain this is and counter bid.
This will no doubt get taken over either way as the board seems to have had enough of the company.
One worry is that if the offer fails the board will be dispanded as they clearly have had enough
After holding for nearly a decade. Maybe I was a bit insulate in my thinking when the company raised funds in such a way.
INMO it is starting look like Cyprotex has a hugely talented bunch of people doing what they do best and city people doing what they do best. So maybe this is going to be even a bigger success than I could have imagined.
