Thanks trickledown and GCT for your thoughts. Appreciated.

My own feeling is that very few of the OO shares will not be taken up (especially, as I said earlier, given the nature of DES long term holders as a whole - a rather weird and long suffering but doggedly determined species) and that indeed, very few additional shares will be available. So I suppose 1 or 2pc might be about right - although disappointing to us individually.

Monday should be an interesting day.

While I'm on, assuming Friday wasn't the shares "holding" day to determine entitlement to the OO, as some people took it to be, if it's perhaps Monday instead I wonder how the deadline would be delineated exactly? Would it be 1) how many shares you held at market opening? 2) how many shares you held at commencement of EGM? 3) how many shares you held at Monday's close??? Or what?
