	Ravi please do not stop. Both John and yourself provide me with so much good information and analysis.Being a complete amateur and novice investor I got into EROS on a whim but believe it is a good company worth holding. Currently up by 50% I regard it as one of my better decisions (not as good as Greenko though - indian renewable energy company). However your knowledge and insight give me a much better insight into the company. I don't think any offence was really meant by the previous poster and if there was then I believe the majority of board members would have the sense to make a sound judgement on the comment. 	Simply by saying that there is no offensiveness in it, u have put in offensive words. Another went to the extent of asking if I am a PR consultant of Eros and I had huge investments in it. What all this? I used to put in this board ,what I used to come across and if you are not agreeable to it u can just ignore and go on. Why all this? I thought there is a bit of decency in this board and it seems some are breaching that limits. Being an Media Sector Analyst I put some matters and materials I come across in the sense it would be useful for investments. If you dont like them I shall stop writing this board. 	I thought I'd take this unphasing treeshake to get back to Ravi about Aladin. As promised I finally saw it and to be honest most reviews about it are correct. A quick summary: Special Effects: I actually did not think the special effects were that bad, I know some people criticised them but whilst they are not at Hollywood blockbuster level (I never expected them to be), they do look great on the big screen. Most of the cut scenes in the trailer show the best bits but my only criticism is some effects were obviously fake and cartoon like, the city looks animated and the CGI use is pretty obvious - luckily it is a kids film so you take it with a pinch of salt but whilst Hollywood is perfecting CGI to look as real as possible, Bollywood is still introducing CGI and therefore don't seem to be that concerned at how real it looks. Story: The story was a big disappointment,clearly the biggest issue with Aladin. It felt disjointed and almost boring (luckily most songs are upbeat which picks up the pace a little bit). The beginning is good and you feel it is about to take off but it never does and there is a typical good vs evil battle at the end, it makes you wonder who the target audience is for the movie - it has a bit for everyone but in the end it didn't really fit with any age group. I'm suprised Eros would launch a film with a bad storyline, did they not have focus groups and why did the film get good reviews in previews - were the reviewers bribed?! Characters: AB was great, its unfortunate he has been having some bad luck with films. Mukesh I've never been that keen on but did a good job playing Aladin and the Jaquline Fernandez is gorgeous, AB uses some dialogues from a lot of his classics but even though I'm a fan it did feel he didn't fit the role. Overall: Pretty poor, I was expecting something fantastic and it had the potential: ABs as the genie, special effects at a level never seen in Bollywood, good intial reaction in terms of previous and soundtrack is imo which was very good (not the greatest but at least a couple of hits like 'you maybe'). I know I'm invested in Eros but damn that was probably the worst film I've seen this year but in its defence I only go to watch films which have been doing well and are hits and don't watch that many (there hasn't been that many hits this year!). 	Nic Nak Sceptical is an excellent mindset to have (been burn't myself). On the payment of dividends they are still a growth company so they need all the capital they can get. 	Good comments, all appreciated and well received. The fundamentals (well turnover against profit at least) look ok, I recently had my fingers burnt as such am a little more cautious. Can anyone provide a little info as to: 1. Why there have been no assets valuations for 08 & 09 (to date)? & 2. Why if there has been a steady increase in turnover & profit no Dividends have been paid? Also I cant seem to locate any information on debt levels? anyone know the gearing ratio? The hype only worries me as when things are to good to be true then they usually are (or at least appear to be to good). I must be getting sceptical in my old age :-) However if they are going to take over the world like S R Green states, who am i to disagree! 	Hi Nik Nak Not sure why the hype should worry you as only a prawn would put their money on a stock based on what was posted on a message board rather than on looking into the company themselves (no offence intended to those who post, being one of them myself) and as the saying goes "A prawn and his money are soon parted". Anyways the only way is up for this share, £5,000,000 per share by close tomorrow. 	Ignore the hype and look at the company and yourself- why do you want to buy it? and do those reasons still stand? I'm in again after being in and out a couple of times earlier in the year - and kicking myself for getting out too soon - and also being happy now its dropped back. 	Ravi- thanks for these posts and also all the other valuable posts you made in past months. The depth of your research is impressive. Many thanks. Your last reference to block deals has probably answered by question on the high volumes yesterday with small SP rise. If the MM are filling a large buy order it would explain the SP hovering at current levels. Once filled we should see the shares move up rapidly as there was also be less liquidity as buy back volumes are removed from market. 	Now I assert that the great takeover suspense is going to be unraveled in the month of December 2009. This is going to be a very clever move by Eros International and they plan to mobilise money from the market for expansion plans without losing even a bit in their present stake. Then by coming to know their full plans, the Public (both in UKand India) will turn euphoric towards this stock and SPs going to hit roof. The recent RNS has clearly given added leverage for the MMs by making them confuse about the word "Dilution" and making them panic and sell. Presumingly these bought out shares will be again Bought-Back as per the AGM Resolution at a later date by way of some block deal. 	In the RNS (5.10.2009) it was said:--" It is currently intended that any new funds raised by Eros India in the Indian IPO will not result in a dilution of the Company's ownership in excess of 25%." Eros Plc ownership over Eros India is not held directly and its held through its 100% owned subsidiary namely Eros Worldwide LLc (Dubai). This Eros Worldwide LLc (Dubai) also have only 70% stake in Eros India. Since Eros India is already having indirect control of Universal Arts Ltd., by having 94% control, the change of management in UA will give much room to manouevre and to literally dilute the remaining 24% without no actual dilution. So the acquisition ( of Universal Arts) as envisaged by me earlier in this Message Board, is definitely going to be through and it is the only beneficial way for Eros Plc, to get listed in India without any actual dilution of its holdings which it holds as of now. The company RNS has not given clear picture and every one of us got confused that there will a real dilution of 25% by Eros Plc., What is going to happen but not really said (RNS) is a mythical dilution. 	Dear Friends, Here is the equity structure of the whole company and its holdings in subsidiary companies as briefed in Eros Plc, prospectus itself. 1. Eros International Plc (Isle of Man) has three subsidiaries namely; Eros Network (UKGroup), Eros Worldwide LLc (Dubai) and Bondemand (on demand portal). In all these it has 100% holdings 2. This Eros Network (UKGroup) has four 100% owned subsidiaries namely; Eros International Ltd. (England), Eros Entertainment (USA), Eros Pacific (Fiji), Eros Australia Ltd., (Australia) 3. The Eros Worldwide LLc (Dubai) has two subsidiaries namely Eros International Media Pvt. Ltd., (Eros India), Eros Digital Pvt. Ltd. ,(India). In Eros India it has 70% stake and in Eros Digital it has 99.98% stake. 4.This Eros International Media Pvt. Ltd., (Eros India) has two subsidiaries namely Shivam Videotech (87.3% stake) and Copsale Ltd., (100%- Isle of Man Registered) 5. There is another independent subsidiarly called Eros Offshore and it has four subsidiaries namely; 1. Eros Media (Mauritius), 2. Evron Ltd., ( Mauritius), 3. Stanning Corpn(Virgin Island) 4. Windmill Holdings Ltd., ( Mauritius) 6. However, the trade and assets of the subsidiaries mentioned in the Clause 5 above are taken over by the Eros Worldwide LLc (Dubai) in 2006 itself.
