	You should have received a dividend of $1.50 per share (£0.73p) which was paid on 24th Oct for shares held Oct 10th. I actually received payment on oct 31st. The third qtr dividend of £1.50 should be paid on Dec 12th. However there was a $1.75 extrodinary dividend which Frontline news said would be paid at the same time as the 2nd qtr dividend. This now seems to be combined with the 3rd qtr, making me think the original news had mixed up the dates. I would expect this payment within the next 7 days into my account. If you have not received the 2nd qtr dividend contact your stockbroker. These have been a wonderful share for me and have made up for many other errors. 	Just wondering if people have received the div payments from October, i.e. the $1.50 and/or $1.75. I have not seen anything yet and am wondering how to proceed now. 	Hi everyone This is a very quiet forum for such an interesting share. Could anyone explain why the spread is so large? Can the dividends be paid in UK pounds? With (apparently) so few shares traded through London compared to Oslo and US, is there a problem obtaining these shares? Regards to all. 	I bought these shares 4 years ago. Since then they have split off Ship international and golden ocean, giving shares in these companies to their shareholders. The value of these is now worth more to me than my original investment in Frontline. Furthermore I have received dividends way in excess of my original investment. Finally the shares are were two and a half times what i paid. I love this company. I do not understand the mechanics of shipping and freight costs and charges but I do understand that this company always makes me smile! 	I hold quite a lot shares in FRO and bought a few more this week after the q4/full year report & webcast. There have been some negative articles in the press over the last 6 months warning that the tanker cycle peaked last year and that after the exeptional rates (and profits in 2004/05) day rates will head well down in the near future. These concerns are real. The world fleet is increasing slightly faster than demand at present. There may be recession in Asia. But there are a number of positives. Oil demand/consumption is growing fastest in countries where delivery by pipeline is difficult e.g. Far East & China Many ship yards were closed during the 90's ship building slump; most are now at full capacity, booked months or years ahead. So supply bottleneck. Because of high day rates normal scrapping is defered but cant be avoided. In 6 years all single hull tankers will have to be phased out. Many single hulls are being converted to other uses (e.g. storage) in anticipation of this. Most tanker companies are more shareholder friendly than they were during previous cycles. Divis & buybacks instead of throwing all the profits into fleet expansion. FRO itself is very profitable. They have a large modern fleet of VLCC & Suezmax most of which have been sold and leased back from SFL. Most of their older single hulls are chartered out long term to scrap dates at fixed rates, giving visibility to earnings years ahead. Due to spin offs of SFL (Ship Finance) & GOGL + very juicy dividends I have made a very good total return (90%) in less than 2 years in spite of the sp actually being down a bit. I got into FRO for the income. Historic divi yeild was 26%. Projected is about 15% and about 6.5 % if they only manage to pay the "regular" divi of $2.50. Not for widows and orphans but an interesting share for a medium risk high yeild portfolio. I also own SFL which finances FRO & other ships and offers a smoother earnings flow- lease payments + profit share. Projected yeild 10.7%.
