Thursday, November 5, 2009 AGM Details 2009 Posted by Trickyboyfish at 9:55 PM ken123rose - 5 Nov'09 - 12:40 - 71470 of 71616 Attendance at the AGM. 11.00 am Thursday 12th November at: Osborne Clark Offices One London Wall London EC2Y 5EB As a Hawk shareholder with a Barclays nominee account I phoned Barclays this morning to obtain paperwork to attend and vote at the AGM, which they are going to send. When I asked what would happen if the post failed due to strikes I was told without a Nominee slip or Paper Share Certificate I would not be allowed to attend. This is the information Barclays and possibly others are giving out. Concerned I phoned our Company and DB has just phoned me back very enthusiastic for me to inform that Barclays are wrong, all are welcome to attend regardless of paperwork or shareholding, ie spread betters or just interested potential investors will be equally welcome to their share of the catering. Apparently there will be a Company Presentation and a Schlumberger Presentation on Jolly. Interesting indeed. I also asked about voting with/without paperwork and David wasn’t totally certain admitting he would need to check with the Registrars for a legal answer, but clearly isn’t expecting anything to go to a tight controversial vote where the shareholding of everyone in the room need to be checked. I hope this helps as I have seen various inquisitive posts on the BB over the last few weeks. Look forward to seeing many of you there
