The full excess I applied for showed in my TD account for most of yesterday, that had noe changed. I appear to have about 2.8% of the applied for number, the cash having now been returned too. Perhaps just the way TD handled the allocation to ensure there was cash available for whatever I eventually got.
It would appear that the extra wait for bestinvest was worth it. This lucky callsign got all 500k of his excess share application, now sitting on a healthy multibag after a shocking week in the market! And now I have 770k shares at pocket money price.
Contrary to what I said yesterday, I won't actually be topslicing at this time, the price is only 0.32 or so and I see great potential going forward with what is essentially a free ride now.
Sorry Maru, but as you have seen, TP appears to have got about 1.85% of his excess request with iii, I got 2.6% with TD, so I am sure you can write off any further thoughts of getting your full excess request, I have! (whilst I await results from other providers).
As you say though, the presentation looks good and as we have agreed, there is fantastic potential here, the SP could seriously leap up at any time with what is to come!
Your post has prompted me to log in and check mine, it's loading as we speak....
Anddd it's a big fat nope from bestinvest still. Hopefully not many people that invest in IRG use bestinvest so I can have a few more! They better have mine all credited in my account by open tomorrow, otherwise it's a pretty disadvantageous from a trading perspective. (not that I trade)
I can see this share dropping as people sell their excess shares hoping to rebuy and then start rising substantially as we announce in greater detail what's being drilled.
Got a measly 18,456 excess shares from the 1000000 I requested and paid for.
Not that I didn't expect to be scaled back, of course I did. But, £11's worth and the rest in cash credit tommy account, which, btw, I can't withdraw yet ! Disappointed, but hey ho, I've got my entitlement shares plus my 18,456 so I'm hanging on to all.
Might even buy a few more tomorrow if the sp drops a bit further.
Nice link btw M118, thanks. Looks very promising. Just had a couple from Buenos Aires staying with us and they say the gas situation is dire. Direct line already in place from Bolivia :-))) they just need someone to find a bit more gas to fill the pipes. Now who would that be ??
I think it's inevitable TP mate, however I would only sell if I'm able to take up my full excess shares, as this would have given me a profit too large to ignore. However if I simply get my OO shares and a few excess then I'll definitely be holding them all. My plan hasn't changed, I'm still in this long term, just taken a bit of a hit to my portfolio this week and would be nice to capitalise on some gains.
Leads me on to bodie Totally agree actually, in the short term and the LONG term, I think echo is going to do better for me than sound. But in the medium term 18-24months (where have we heard that number before) I think sound should do well for me.
At the moment I'm stuck 20% on sound and I can't see it recovering much until we get some drill results which could be months. (although the webcast could help us) Where as Echo could shoot upwards at a moments notice.
Also I posted the investor presentation on the previous board before it got deleted, so I'll repost it again in case anyone missed it.
Sorry, I'll say that again. (Without the typos)
Looks like a few are taking your route to riches Maru M8. But it's selling that's dropping the sp. better to hang on and let the sp gain its own momentum.
Yeah I have no idea how many excess, those that get theirs early can top slice if they so wish before the rest of us, and the SP is dropping as we speak. I doubt I'll sell any, but if I was able to get all 500k of my excess I certainly would have top sliced and whacked it into a very cheap SOU.
On the evidence I have seen so far, looks like around 2.6% of excess requests have been successful. If that is the case, then around 2.2 Billion Excess shares were requested, which interestingly is about the same as the Open Offer; or to put it another way, when the RNS said the Open Offer was well oversubscribed (or whatever the wording was), indeed it was 100% oversubscribed, i.e. people wanted twice as many as were available. Maybe that suggests what a good proposition it was!
I note that TD is updated, but neither BI or HL or iii yet. (Bit of a worry that TD is going over to iii soon!)
