	i agree on the volatility and day trading aspect (especially if ur prepared to short via CFD or spread bet). Looking at the charts, i would agree with gatorhex's assessment, its probably too early in the correction phase to be sure that its over and we will see another rally. Dollar is up and held its ground well today. Until we get some solid news on the economies and the dollar turns, the share could go either way from its current level. 	I rebought at 1269 as I got seriouslt shafted on my initialt tranche hoping agiain for a recovery to 1340's and then a retrack back. Otherwise I am holding kaz until I break the 1310. 	Thanks for the great explanation. Based on KAZ's performance today, the uptrend is indeed continuing for this company. But a correction may greet us any day now I agree that the world is slowly recovering but if commodities continue to rise at their current pace, it could deprive the industries of raw materials and we might just see a double dip recession instead. Plus the unwinding of the dollar carry trade will probably start in a few months: 1. record amount of debt will push yield up 2. inflation is accelerating so the fed will need to start tightening soon 3. The Chinese and Arab will not be happy with cheap dollar We are seeing accelerating inflation while there are record number of people unemployed. 	lacartes, KAZ is a leveraged copper play. They don't hedge the copper price. Copper goes up, KAZ goes up more. Copper comes down, KAZ goes down more. I think KAZ's costs to produce a pound of copper is something like $1 where the spot price is $3. KAZ was £19 when copper was $4 pretty much. If you believe that the global economy is recovering and you are bearish on the dollar, then KAZ is a great play. I personally think that dollar weakness has bottomed and the global economy is recovering, therefore copper will continue to go up, but more gradually. In any case the upwards trend has been in place since Nov last year with no signs yet of stopping. Trend is your friend as they say. Makes sense to me below a certain copper price KAZ makes a loss so SP very depressed then above break even price they make a profits. As copper price rises above break even price SP rises much more sharply than price of copper. Company can grow and less profitable mines become profitable. 	KAZ SP has gone up by roughly twice as much as the copper price. What else are they doing that could explain this extra gain? Otherwise am I right to assume it will go down by a lot in the very near future, especially when dollar could also stage another rebound as the week comes to a close. what do u guys think? 	Hm, just sold this yesterday, along with FRES, RRS, BLT, AAL, quite a bit of my portfolio, still got VED and LMI though. Thought I would take some profits. What timing, there all going up today quite a bit !! I thought I would sell some now, since I thought there would be profit taking on Bernake comments that he wants to make the Dollar stronger. Hence, since I think there seems to be a relationship between a weaker dollar and stronger commodity prices (miners). Hm, should have waited a bit longer? Do we all think that this relationship is true, i.e weaker dollar and stronger commodities, Do we think that if the dollar does to start getting stronger that then temporarily the commodities will drop, but then pick up again, this time to the factor of more demand (supply/demand equation). Hence, due to this is do we think if we buy miners again, when there is another dip, When do we think this will happen ? Even if we buy in the wrong price now , i.e suddenly the dollar picks up and thus sp drop. We might aswell hold as long term investement. Basically trade now in and out, if get caught off guard then good long term investment, what do we all think? Thoughts please. 	ENRC has been a disappointment for me too, I think you could be right on your gamble, I think a 60% chance your right, its all down to how it pans out later today. 	It can't be far from breaching the 1300 mark James however I feel that there is more value in waiting for it to drop and take the profit back to the 1300. I may miss the top of the rally a few times but at least I know this share is good for about £14.50 in the short term. I can't help but notice that my enrc shares have languished sub 900 for a long time and so sometimes i am way of the mark. 	Agreed. 1300p is a big resistance line which KAZ only temporarily appears to breach. I'm also concerned by Nomura's comments last week, which suggested that the Kaz Tenge is overvalued (although it closely tracks the USD), and that KAZ itself is due for correction down to sub 1100p. I found it interesting that Monday's rally did not include the ubiquitous KAZ that tends to dominate rallies.... Are we due a pull-back? But surely not below 1100. I would think support lies at about 1160ish. C'mon guys, what's going on? I read a lot about EWT and Chazabite's excellent comments... I mean, you traders are the experts here. 	Just can't quite do it can it! oh well, with any luck the copper prices will continue upwards and drag this up to a year-high close with it tomorrow...the cause of the struggle through 1300p is surely the amount of people which have put a stop-sell at 1300p?
