Once again past £30 with every chance this will now become the support level. For a FTSE 100 company with this sort of movement, I'm astounded at the lack of commentary on here....or on ADVFN. NMC is one of my best performers and little reason to doubt this year will not disappoint. £40 is my new target, but this could easily double in value over the next 18 - 24 months. GLA and HNY
So, no correction last month and £30 cracked today, indeed, powered through the barrier. NMC still has plenty of legs left, I'm staying put and not selling a single share. The real bonus is this is in the FTSE 100 and is paying an increasing dividend. What's there not to like?
At this rate of progress NMC will be at my target of £30 in days Astonishing rise in what is now a FTSE 100 co. Thing is, once reached do I sell or stay greedy? A few commentators seem to be expecting a correction in the market (October?), they may well be right, this bull run has to end sometime....
You are right Y - short term trading is probably a bit of a waste of time. Keeps me entertained though!
NMC entering the FT100 index makes the point about how depressing it must be investing in this index; You've held Provident Capital, which has plunged by 70% and you have to buy NMC which has already soared. I'd guess an investor might be better served doing the opposite.
