PLEASE DONT READ FURTHER IF YOU DO NOT FEEL INCLINED TO OFFER ADVICE ON A CAREER IN FINANCE, AS YOU WILL FIND THE REST OF THIS POST BORING.

if there are any city/wharf people reading this, and i assume there are, please can i have some advice?

im an aerospace engineer considering doing an Msc in finance/management/financial engineering with a view to getting a city job and some proper dough. I appreciete the sector is in a firing rather than hiring phase just now but im thinking about 2 years hence.

im currently a scientist/engineer/programmer and have been for 4 years. i've pretty much had to accept that my field of science/engineering (fluid dynamics and material hydrodynamics) is a total crock of s*1T, principally because all the people running it are corner cutting terds (with absolutely no social skills whatsoever, who stink and usually have food all over their face, and their presence makes your skin crawl) and there's no money in it.

in mid 20's i reckon its now or never in terms of going back to school.
