	I have just received my forms also. Very similar to the ones I got from the US earlier in the year. 1 big problem though..... I have all the original contract notes so no problem with providing the docs regarding the purchases and sales but back then I was trading certificated rather than through a nominee (lots of reasons not least of which is I hated being tied to one broker but that's a completely separate issue) so how do I get hold of a statement of the holdings on the start and end dates? No broker would have that information, merely have a record of what you bought and sold but no clue as to your total holding. Obviously Shell and/or their Registrar would have known - they paid me my dividends on the correct amount of shares so clearly did know on the "record date" for each dividend. Is it a case of writing to Shell and/or the Registrars and asking for the holdings on the specific dates? Does anyone else have the same problem and found a suitable solution? I still have the actual dividend notes/tax credits but am told that they are not acceptable proof of the holdings on the specified dates as the dates don't match - even though I have the one immediately before and after and both show the same holding and/or have the contract notes to explain the difference. it;s still not acceptable. 	Rhigos, an update. Since I posted on this subject I myself have received a claim form to be returned to the UK administrator. Wondering why I need to do this since previous instructions were that the US administrator would forward the claims form to Europe, I have had to pore through the websites and found this statement, which must have changed in the months since I filled in my US claim: "I already submitted information in relation to the SEC Settlement. Do I need to fill out another claim form and submit the information again? Upon consultation between the administrator for the Non US Settlement and the administrator for the SEC Settlement it appeared that the information provided in the SEC Settlement cannot be used for the claims under the Non US Settlement. For that reason, you have to fill out a new claim form and submit the information requested." This from http://www.shellsettlement.com/index.php?page=qanda#q11 I also noticed this comment on the US claim:" The pro rata distribution amounts to about 3% of the eligible amount of damage, whereby the calculated compensations of less than $50 have been rounded up to $50. In total 310,000 claims have been submitted." This from http://www.shellcompensation.com/shell/ennews.php?newsnr=5115 3% of the eligible amount of damage! This gives me about 3% confidence that I will get the £200 approx that I calculated was due to me. Except that a lot of European claimants probably applies as suggested via the US administrator so perhaps the US pot had to be spread very thin indeed. I didn't have an actual claim on the US settlement, but I think they had 12.5M USD just for people holding up their hands. Rant over, must run, I have to get this claim in by November 2010!
