Anyone out there?
I cannot understand the posted prices this morning. Friday closed at 0.1/0.15p. The AGM agreed the capital restructure without any reported problems. Yet, after a 10:1 consolidation we have opening price of 0.5/1.0p rather than the more intuitively obvious (with no adverse news) 1.0/1.5p. I note this BB has 0.75/1.0p as the bid/ask prices but we are still looking at a lost 1/3rd of MV over the weekend. Why? It came around the back end of Feb and the previous year. It spike for a day or two then retraces. When i talk spikes it was around 180%. People pile in and the spread starts. The key is to sell before the spread wides. Beware it is quick and then the lock in comes. Good luck if you are playing. It is not for the faint hearted.

rustyrat,
happy new year. is that a trend year-on-year that you noticed with RLH? i would expect them to come up with their acquisition rather than just floating, after Roeford pull it off towards the end of last year (they are now Mar City with epic MAR), so can someone tell the people at RLH to follow suite please? by the way, how high did it go last year february? There will be no news it is just trading volumes. This is how this share works. It Will go down next week and people will bale again. Just hold until you are happy with your return. Set yourself a target, but be careful setting stop losses on this one it will take your money

What's the reason for this rise? Is it purely the 4m buy or are there expectations of news on Monday?

I have been reading a great article on trading with some excellent insights
heres some excerts in full on www.share-exchange.com Here I am going to cover some key areas that I think, and hope, will give you a greater chance of becoming a more successful trader! The Keys For Successful Trading There are two key factors that determine a traders chance of success. 1. Having a strategy that is likely to be profitable over time. 2. The ability to be able to trade that strategy consistently. Both of these factors are required to achieve consistent trading success. Developing both takes time, structured and progressive training and hard work, just as in the process of achieving success in any performance area sports, sales, medicine, business, military. Why Trading Success Takes Time So what you say, Im not here to become a brain surgeon. No probably not, but I am guessing that you do want to become a good trader, and the requirements of becoming a successful trader are not dissimilar time, effort, planning and progressive training. The process of becoming a trader involves the key stages of beginner, novice, competent, expert and master, with a progression moving from a very standardised approach to a much more individualized and personalised one. Essentially you will move from learning to trade to becoming a trader. The goal of a trader should be to move smoothly and progressively through the development process. So how is this achieved? Well for many people it isnt! However it is possible to accelerate your progress and enhance your chances of trading success by following a few key principles. Here they are. Its big but you can see it for free in full on here www.share-exchange.com New £5 frequent trader rate - trade UK shares, investment trusts and ETFs |

Guys
As i have said before Red Leopard are players and play a dirty game, you have to learn how to play them back. They are the masters of tree shaking and accepting that you can make money from them. If you try and find information or call them you are wasting your time, its not there and they do not return calls. The ceo has bigger fish to fry and this is just a holding company that has sold nothing and bought nothing as we will see from their financials when they are out. Do your research on the graphs this dog peaks occasionally where suckers jump on the wagon. It then dips to take your money. As i said before it is a lonely place on here when the weeks excitement finishes. The only advice i can offer is hold, hold and hold. Wait for the peak and then get out. Dont give them your money!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Offie, no not a holder here at the moment. On my watchlist but just doing some research first.
Trying to get to the bottom of this loan note RNS. People keep mentioning warrants, but a loan note is quite different. Warrants can be executed at the price set for the warrant at any time by the shareholders, whereas a loan note is a form of vendor finance or deferred payment, in which the purchaser acts as a borrower, agreeing to make payments to the holder of the transferable loan note at a specified future date. from what I can see RLH should have paid back the loan around this date but have agreed to give them 44 million shares in lieu of the payment and presumably this option was originally secured at 0.95p back in 2007 when it was a fair price. That is how I view it. Trade this long or short with an interactive markets spread betting or CFD account. |

That's true Zaboichi. But would the shares that was converted not have been sold if they are scared of the debt not being paid that would be a major concern and so they would try to offload pretty much all of it.There is some sell but not at the scale that would suggest the shares converted are being sold (unless they are doing it very slowly). You should also remember that even at 0.25 it is still more than 66% 3 days ago so if I was the original shareholder I would have sold some of my shares to get some profit. I could be wrong though.

That could be true Offie, and is the main reason I haven't sold up and moved on.
What's worrying me though is someone previously writing that it's a debt being settled that would otherwise have been written off in the future? They took the shares rather than nothing. Thereby making the shares no where near the 0.95p valuation they're spouting, but better than nothing. Sounds like it could be a possibility. They didn't state this in the RNS but then they wouldn't. If it's a fiddle, they would have wanted to make it sound like a good offer. If it was kosher and everyone saw it as a clear cut case of all the shares reaching 0.95p, why would the share only reach 0.38p? It should have gone to 0.8p and then maybe retraced a little as everyone waited for the RNS? Just some of my musings, I have only just started looking into investing so know nothing. Please don't shoot me down if I've gotten something wrong, though let me know if I have, in a nice friendly manner! ;-) We are all after the same thing! Big bad profits!!! Let's all pray we're not lumbered with a damp squib. GL all. |

Well I have to say that I was a bit greedy and didn't lock in some profit (should have listened to Mr. Rusty) but I am certainly not selling my shares just yet. If someone is willing to pay 0.95p for that many shares there must be something up. They could have just got the shares at market price at 0.15-0.2p but instead choose to get the shares through the warrant at 0.95p so that give me great confidence (Perhaps scared that buying that many shares in the market as the buys would push the SP higher than 0.95p???).
