ARE WE REALLY ANY THE WISER? v.v. DISAPPOINTING IMHO [taken from my post last Friday] Share your plan even in outline as you do with institutional investors! NAH! What is the underlying cash burn? CASH IS UP £300K BUT THIS TIME LAST YEAR IT WAS UP £700K! THE UNDERLYING CASH POSITION REMAINS A BIG CONCERN. WITH TURNOVER UP THEY ARE BUSY FOOLS AT THE MOMENT I FEAR. When will you generate some cash for us owners? PASS! What significant applications and orders have you got? WE HAVE GOT SOME NEW ONES BUT WE WONT TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE OR WHO THEY ARE FOR. Does the tube application hold water - or are we being misled? PASS - OR RATHER PASS WATER - DON'T BELEIVE THEY CAN HOLD WET MATERIALS! What are the margins? PASS - CURRENTLY POOR Will the RF business really make money or is it now a dead loss? IT HAS A GOOD ORDER PIPELINE (AKA PASS) What is the £££ implication of the golden share finishing? PASS - BETTER NOT MENTION THIS UNTIL AFTER IT HAS GONE Who is managing the Biotec business? STANELCO 29% (OF A SMALL NUMBER) BIOTEC 8% (OF A BIG NUMBER) - AKA PASS Why has Stanelco abandoned its european patents? DON'T MENTION THE PATENTS! What is the story with Bioprogress and summons to the european patent office in December? KEEP QUITE THE OWNERS MIGHT NOT NOTICE WHAT WE HAVE DONE Why are Novamont suing Biotec? PASS Why are you paying bonuses on such awful performance? DONT MENTION ANYTHING TO DO WITH COSTS and of course Why are your overheads so high and how will you half them? THIS MEANS PAIN FOR THE MANAGEMENT - PASS
