Sold - don't like the seemingly sponsored good news. I'm not sure the drop was down to the 'big sell'. Something fishy going on, not sure what. I'm selling the lot about 10% of my money and putting it in either - fundsmith, scott morg, finsbury, slater or patient capital. hmmmmm.........

I was totally in agreement with this until I read my latest statement carefully and realised they put a £30+vat a year charge on the savings plan.
Real shame, since I'd been investing in this one and WPC for a long, long. Well, they lost me - I sold out on Friday. Another factor was the narrowing of the discount on this one to 4%, it's not a bargain any more.
I may invest again sometime, but all these investment managers ramping up the fees are a kick in the teeth for people who prefer to invest directly at the lowest possible costs.

Witan is a rare bargain for small investors - Investors Chronicle:
If youre looking for a core portfolio holding for your individual savings account (Isa)
or self-invested personal pension (Sipp), Witan Investment Trust (WTAN) looks like a bargain. Its latest annual results show it produced a net asset value (NAV) total return of 29.4 per cent over the last 12 months, comfortably beating its benchmark (40 per cent FTSE All-Share, 20 per cent FTSE All World (AW) Europe ex UK, 20 per cent FTSE AW Asia Pacific and 20 per cent FTSE AW North America) which managed to produce 20.7 per cent.
Its an accessible option for regular savers with small amounts to invest, as it comes with an option for a regular savings scheme which can be started with £50 a month or
a £250 lump sum. This option could also make it suitable for a parent or grandparent wishing to start a savings plan for their children or grandchildren.
And although Witan is a multi manager trust, it still has a very reasonable
ongoing charge of 0.73 per cent.
- I might just set up a regular saving plan and add to my existing holding.

Dont know who messed up BUT
1) Its SL..o...w
2) It took me 4 attempts to log in
3) I wouldn't TRUST it to do any dealing
4) Nobody tested it with real users
5) Even allowing for familiarity its DIFFICULT to find things
6) Its E.V.e.n S.L..O....w....e .....r now
Please do something - I know things have to develop BUT sacking someone in the IT dept (Preferably a highly paid consultant) would be a good start.
PS Perhaps it so slow so users find it difficult to complain !!!!
