This thought was running through my head yesterday .
It is said that NAMA will really benefit bank shareholders . Might be right and if you can't beat us then join us !
If you were a public sector worker after getting your wages cut by 7 % or whatever this year and next year wouldn't it be a good idea to start buying a few of these bank shares bit by bit . The returns out of them should give you back your 7 % or more . Also maybe offset the Interest rate increases on your mortgage that will probably come in the future .
Just a thought .
I'd say that Dermot Desmond would agree with me !
