I agree with your valuation of £1.19 and I feel it not unreasonable to expect the pension deficit to have declined. In my opinion the pref holders will be offered ordinary shares for their shares and the areas of dividends. There could then be a fund raising to assist the company to move forward.

As far as the Directors' pay is concerned this is no more than nominal and paid by the holding company ABE. The trading company BPE will no doubt be picking up the costs of its Directors one of whom I think has a reasonable holding in ABE. For some time the Chairman has been hinting at coporate activity and this could come within the next year. The half year figures could be interesting.
