Following on with the discussion regarding the long term future of the company, I read through the full 'trading update' issued yesterday. There is lots of nice news in the document, including the fact that the recent uplift in equity markets has meant that Moderna was actually purchased at something like a 72-74% discount. Regarding our recent discussions, I found the following snippet:

"Moderna was acquired on 23 July 2009 for £20m. The company continues to attract new business and grow the strong position it has achieved in the Swedish unit-linked market since its launch in 2002".

So we are no longer a 100% zombie fund and we may have more of a future than we thought. The update has triggered further buying of the share (including yours truly who could not resist picking-up my 4th tranche in 12 months - fingers crossed).
