LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Education Development Intl Plc. said it has appointed Paul Graham Bird as finance director.

The company said Graham Bird will join after a handover period with his successor to his current position at EG Solutions Plc., who has been appointed with effect from May 19.

The company also said co-founder Wynford Dore will retire as a director with immediate effect to enable him to focus on his other business interests.
