IMF board set to decide on Hungary loan on Nov. 6

WASHINGTON, Oct 30 (Reuters) - The International Monetary Fund is expected to approve $15.7 billion (12.5 billion euros) in financial assistance for Hungary on Nov. 6, an IMF spokesman said on Thursday.
The IMF said this week it had reached a 17-month standby loan arrangement with Hungary, which includes $15.7 billion from the IMF and an additional $8.1 billion from the European Union and another $1 billion from the World Bank to help bolster confidence in the economy.
