BRIEF-888 total operating income in Q3 up 24%

LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - 888 Hldgs Plc:

  • TOTAL OPERATING INCOME IN Q3 UP 24% TO US$68 MILLION

  • NET GAMING REVENUE ("NGR") IN Q3 UP 23% TO US$66 MILLION

  • IN SEPTEMBER GLOBAL ECONOMIC CONDITIONS AND SHARP EXCHANGE RATE MOVEMENTS
    resulted in lower turnover than August

  • SINCE JULY TOTAL DEPOSIT LEVELS IN LOCAL CURRENCY REMAINED FAIRLY STABLE.
    however given the appreciation of the us$ against sterling and euro such
    deposits translated into lower us$ amounts

  • DESPITE EXTERNAL ADVERSE ECONOMIC CONDITIONS IS CONFIDENT IN ITS BUSINESS
    model and strategy.
