NEW YORK, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Eight bids have been received for failed Japanese insurer Yamato Life Insurance Co, Japan's Nikkei financial daily reported.
Bidding ended Monday, and Yamato will narrow the number of bidders to two or three as early as this weekend and make a final selection early next year, the report on Nikkei's website said, without citing sources.
The report said Yamato has until Feb. 13 to submit a rehabilitation plan to the Tokyo District Court. Keywords: JAPAN YAMATOLIFE/BIDDERS
