0930 - UK OCTOBER INFLATION DATA
UK consumer price index seen rising 0.1 pct in October,
which would bring the annual rate down to 4.8 pct from
5.2 pct the previous month. RPI seen easing to 4.5 pct
from 5 pct.
1245 - ICSC/GOLDMAN SACHS WEEKLY U.S. CHAIN STORE SALES
ICSC/Goldman Sachs release chain store sales for the
week ended Nov. 15 versus the prior week. In the
previous week, sales fell 1.0 percent.
1330 - U.S. PPI/CORE PPI FOR OCTOBER
Labor Department releases the October Producer Price
Index (PPI). Economists in a Reuters survey forecast a
1.8 percent drop compared with a 0.4 percent fall in
September. Excluding volatile food and energy items,
PPI is seen up 0.1 compared with a 0.4 percent rise the
prior month.
1355 - REDBOOK WEEKLY U.S. RETAIL SALES
Redbook releases its Retail Sales Index of department
and chain store sales for November versus October. In
the prior period, sales fell 1.2 percent.
1400 - U.S. SEPTEMBER NET CAP INFLOWS/FOREIGN TREASURY BUYS
Treasury Department issues net capital inflows and
foreign treasury purchases for September. In August,
Net capital inflows were $14.0 billion and $34.82
billion in foreign Treasury purchases.
1430 - U.S. TREASURY'S PAULSON, FED'S BERNANKE, FDIC'S BAIR
TESTIFY, Washington
U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, Federal Reserve
Chairman Ben Bernanke and Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation Chairman Sheila Bair testify to the House
Financial Services Committee on the Troubled Asset
Relief Program.

ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet gives Lord Roll
Memorial Lecture at Chatham House in association with

2145 - NEW ZEALAND Q3 PRODUCER PRICES
New Zealand producer price inputs index is expected to
rise 3 percent in the third quarter from the previous
quarter, while the outputs index is expected to rise 2
percent in the third quarter from the second quarter.
2200 - ABC U.S. WEEKLY CONSUMER COMFORT INDEX
ABC News releases its consumer comfort index for the
four weeks ended Nov. 16. Economists in a Reuters
survey expect a reading of -50, a repeat of the
previous week's figure.
2300 - SEMI U.S. BOOK-TO-BILL FOR OCTOBER
Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International
releases its book-to-bill ratio for October. In the
previous month, the book-to-bill ratio was 0.76.
DEBT AUCTIONS
ATHENS - Greece to auction 3.80 percent, 3-year, March
2011 Government bond.
LONDON - DMO announces size of sale of 0.75 percent
index-linked gilts due 2047 on Nov 25 and size of sale
of 5.0 pct 2012 conventional gilts on Nov 27
(additional auction) (1530 GMT)
WASHINGTON - Federal Reserve announces results of $150
billion, 28-day TAF auction, 1500 GMT. (Lawder)
Treasury Dept. holds weekly sale of 4-week bills, 1630
