    Aug 13 (Reuters) - UK-based Alphameric Plc, which supplies electronic terminals to the betting markets, said on Thursday it received an early stage expression of interest from a third party.
    The company, whose clients include Ladbrokes and William Hill, said there was no certainty that an offer would be made.
    Shares in the company, which have gained 47 percent in the last six months through Wednesday, rose as much as 28 percent and touched a 52-week high of 35 pence on the London Stock Exchange. They were trading up 4.75 pence at 32 pence at 1036 GMT.
