AEGEAN AIR REBUTS OLYMPIC ISTANBUL ROUTE CONCERNS
Aegean Airlines, Greece's largest carrier by passengers, on Tuesday rejected concerns from rival Olympic Air that an expansion of Aegean's route network to Istanbul was handled incorrectly by the domestic aviation authority.
PPC APPROVES LAUNCH OF TENDER TO INTERCONNECT ISLANDS
Public Power Corp.'s (PPC) board approved the initiation of a tender for a 350-million-euro project to connect the Cycladic islands to the mainland power grid, financial daily Imerisia reported. PPC also decided to award a Metka-led consortium the construction of a power plant in Megalopolis, in southern Greece, after the company accepted PPC's conditions.

ASPIS BNK HAS NO CAPITAL ADEAQUACY PROBLEM- FINMIN OFFICIAL
Aspis Bank does not face a capital adequacy problem, a finance ministry official said on Tuesday, after the insurance market regulator revoked the licence of subsidiary Aspis Pronia.

Greece's metal industry, worth 5 billion euros a year, will increase sales in 2010 after a slump this year as construction and the world economy gather pace, Greece's top lender said in a report on Tuesday.

Bondholders of debt-laden Greek telecom company Wind Hellas will submit an offer in the next few days to help restructure the company's finances, major bond investor Aladdin Capital said on Tuesday.
