ISTANBUL, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Leading Turkish mobile phone company Turkcell said on Thursday tax authorities demanded it provide collateral to meet a 258.3 million lira ($176 million) tax demand.
Turkcell said in a statement it would provide the collateral and would make a legal challenge to the demand for value-added tax and special communications tax on roaming calls covering the period between April 2005 and July 2009.
