3 November 2009 Hanson Westhouse Holdings plc ("HansonWesthouse" or "the Company") Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting Hanson Westhouse Holdings plc (AIM:HWH), the integrated corporate finance and broking house focusing on small and mid-cap companies, announces that, further to the announcement of 14 October 2009, it has today circulated a letter to shareholders convening an Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") at which it will be proposed that the name of the Company be changed to Westhouse Holdings plc and the Company adopt new Articles of Association which will no longer contain restrictions on the making of management decisions in the United Kingdom. The Directors of the Company also wish to notify shareholders that, on behalf of the Company as ultimate sole shareholder of its subsidiaries, they have agreed to change the name of the Company's operating subsidiary from Hanson Westhouse Limited to Westhouse Securities Limited. The new website will be www.westhousesecurities.com. The change of name of the Company's subsidiary will take effect from the date that, if approved, Hanson Westhouse Holdings plc becomes Westhouse Holdings plc. The EGM will be held on Wednesday 25 November 2009 at 11.00am at One Angel Court, London EC2R 7HJ. The letter, together with the Notice of EGM and form of proxy, has been posted to shareholders today and is also available to download from the Company's website, www.hansonwesthouse.com. The proposed new Articles of Association are also available for investors to review on the Company's website, together with a marked-up copy showing the changes from the existing Articles of Association.
