NEW YORK, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Two former top Merge Healthcare Inc executives agreed to pay $870,000 to settle U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission charges they fraudulently inflated revenue at the medical imaging software provider.
Chief Executive Richard Linden and Chief Financial Officer Scott Veech oversaw a process where the Milwaukee-based company, which was also charged, prematurely recognized revenue from 124 transactions between 2002 and 2005.
